Changing Children, Changing Africa!

The African Children’s Choir™ firmly believe that in order to change Africa, we need to change it’s children, by providing them with the opportunities they need to succeed.

Unlike many children in his neighborhood, Emmanuel is blessed to have both a mother and father who work hard to keep steady employment for the sake of their four children. Their tin–roofed home, situated in a poor district of Kampala, is nearly a kilometer from the local community water tap. Emmanuel’s family was happy to see him accepted into the African Children’s Choir™ sponsorship program at a young age, and then able to enter school at an appropriate age. Soon after, Emmanuel was selected for the 26th African Children’s Choir™.

Since touring with the Choir, Emmanuel has enjoyed studying with his hopes set on future studies in medicine. He was even chosen to tour with the African Children’s Choir™ on its inaugural Journey of Hope tour. Emmanuel is performing well in school, sharing his contagious smile with teachers and fellow students alike!
