Changing Children, Changing Africa!

The African Children’s Choir™ firmly believe that in order to change Africa, we need to change it’s children, by providing them with the opportunities they need to succeed.

When Elsa came in contact with the Choir organizers, she did not attend school because her family could not afford to take her to school. She was part of the 1st African Children’ Choir™ in 1984.

Elsa has come a long way with the help of the Choir! She now holds a degree in International Relations and a Masters Degree in Management and Public Administration. Elsa decided to give back to the organization in a major way, and worked with the Choir for nine years in different roles: Chaperone, Choir Trainer, Choir Manager, and even ran the African Children’s Choir™ ‘Mirembe House’ in New Hill, North Carolina, USA. “Joining the Choir was a dream–come–true, one of those dreams I thought would never come true. Everything was just totally like nothing I would have imagined.”
