Changing Children, Changing Africa!

The African Children’s Choir™ firmly believe that in order to change Africa, we need to change it’s children, by providing them with the opportunities they need to succeed.

Edna comes from very humble surroundings. She has four brothers. Her father tried his best to feed his family by getting firewood in the bush for sale or cutting palm nuts for oil production. This was not sufficient to feed his family and they often went without food. He was also unable to pay Edna’s school fees. All this drastically changed when Edna joined the 18th African Children’s Choir™.

Edna was excited to join the Choir Program because it meant she could finally go to school. It also meant she could study without worrying about where her next meal will come from. She is now in Senior Secondary School and is receiving good reports of her class performance and her conduct. “The day when I was chosen for the African Children’s Choir™ remains fresh in my mind” Edna says, still excited at the thought, “the program gave me such a hope and burning desire to study and learn, and be somebody in future.” Her career goal is to be a nurse.

Helping Africa’s most vulnerable children today, so they can help Africa tomorrow
