The 39th African Children’s Choir arrived in Cedar Lake, Iowa on May 31st and have already had a number of new experiences.
Each new group spends the first week or so learning about North American culture, going shopping for new shoes, trying new foods, etc.
On tour the children and chaperones meet so many wonderful host families and have many adventures.
For a child from the city slums of Uganda, the open spaces of a mid-western farm are already awe-inspiring. But imagine being introduced to western farming methods! This is Gibson feeding a calf a bottle of milk and meeting his host family’s pigs!
