MUSIC FOR LIFE OUTREACH PROGRAM

LEARN ABOUT OUR OUTREACH TEAMS

Our Music for Life Outreach teams are made up of young adults who once traveled with the African Children’s Choir®.

WHERE WE WORK

In the slums of Africa, children live with the harsh realities of extreme poverty every day.

They often live with one parent who struggles constantly to find one meal a day and money for school fees. Their homes are small shacks nestled tightly together with no running water, electricity or sanitation services. There are high rates of crime, prostitution and pornography is widely available. In this environment, parents struggle to raise their children.

We are committed to breaking this cycle of poverty by providing mentorship and discipleship to children living in these areas through our outreach programs.

550

Our teams reach 550 new children each year.

14

Spanning 14 different African locations.

Our outreach teams meet children across Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda, teaching them about the love, grace, and hope of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Their spirits rise and their faith takes hold as they see a glimpse of God’s love.

“The mentorship program is powerful because it continues to carry forward the vision of the African Children’s Choir. Now that we have been trained as bearers of hope – we have been given the opportunity to exercise it by also holding the hand of those that follow.”
Amanda – Outreach Leader

ADOPT A MUSIC FOR LIFE OUTREACH LOCATION

This is a unique opportunity for your congregation to engage and band together to provide discipleship, mentorship and support to our young outreach leaders. By adopting a Music for Life outreach location, you will become an extension of the Music for Life family in helping some of Africa’s most vulnerable children today, so they can help Africa tomorrow.

$6,000

Each location can be sponsored for $6,000 per year.

“Becoming a mentor has enabled me to speak positively into the lives of my younger brothers and sisters. I’ve learnt that when you get an opportunity to speak into someone else’s life, give it your all, because that word of encouragement that you give, could be all someone needs to help turn their life around.”
Moriah – Outreach Leader
