Internationally celebrated choir Ubuntu is set to embark on “The Dream Tour” across the United Kingdom, featuring stops in Northern Ireland, England and Scotland.
Meet The Ubuntu Choir
Brian Sankale
Brian Sankale was born and raised in Narok, Kenya. He joined the 35th African Children's Choir, which he describes as "an odyssey that has shaped who I am and who I am yet to become."
Joshua Busuulwa
Joshua Busuulwa is from Luwero District, in the heart of Central Uganda. Joshua had the opportunity to tour around North America with the 31st African Children's Choir between 2008 and 2009.
Moses Katende
Moses Katende joined the 39th African Children's Choir at a tender age. He claims that the African Children's Choir taught him the art of music, which greatly inspired his passion for music.
Gerald Tukundane
Gerald Tukundane is from the centre of western Uganda. He toured with the 40th African Children's Choir, an extraordinary experience that taught him no dream is too big and no aim is too far.
Kevin Mwebe
Kevin Mwebe plays the African drums with great skill. The finest thing that ever happened to Kevin was joining the 40th African Children's Choir. "It was a period that changed my life and my family's life," he says.
Gideon Mugonyi
Gideon Mugonyi comes from the Eastern part of Uganda, which is famous for its richly scented coffee and breathtaking vistas. In 2013, he toured with the 40th African Children's Choir.
Charity Lanoi
Charity Lanoi is a passionate Kenyan who adores the country's mountains. Charity's life changed dramatically when she joined the 35th African Children's Choir, helping her uncover her potential.
Peace Muwanguzi
Meet tranquil and kind-hearted Peace Muwanguzi, who toured with the 40th African Children's Choir. She describes the experience as a wonderful gift that helped her grow in unknown ways.
Esther Nassozi
Esther Nassozi was born and raised in Uganda, a country that has moulded her entire outlook on life. Esther was a member of the 40th African Children’s Choir and remains optimistic about the future.
Patricia Mundua
Patricia Mundua was part of the 39th African Children's Choir. She is from Northern Uganda and takes pride in her ancestry. She enjoys reading adventure literature, traveling, and time with friends and family.
Lynne Sikinan
Meet Lynne Sikinan, a brilliant, artistic, and friendly member of the 34th African Children's Choir. Lynne is Kenyan, born and she was raised in the heart of Maasai land.
Margaret Nsangi
Margaret Nsangi is from Kalangala, a small island in Lake Victoria, Uganda. She joined and travelled with the 40th African Children's Choir, leaving new footprints on her life's journey.
Bridget Nalukenge
Bridget Nalukenge travelled with the 30th African Children's Choir. She notes that the Choir has taught her to sing, dance, and participate in sports, all of which have allowed her to travel throughout the world.
Collins Lemayian
Collins Lemayian is from Kenya and was a member of the 34th African Children's Choir. He believes that being a member of the choir has availed him of other chances, including participation in African Odyssey.
Sandrah Nakalanda
Sandrah Nakalanda is from Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. She was a member of the 24th African Children's Choir, a journey that took her away from home, over borders, and into a world she had never imagined.
